Equipment – M.W. Friesen

1) Honey Supers: Standard langstroth super (9 5/8 depth), 8 frames with metal spacers, Most with cut handles, all with 7/8″ cleats on short side. Mostly wood with plastic foundation, with 1/4 ish frames one piece plastic frames. $40/each (aprox. 1400 available)

2) Brood chambers: Used last summer. Standard Langstroth super with 10 frames, cut out handles. Most have 7/8 thick super walls. Bottom board and flat lid provided. $15/each (approx. 350 available).

*Please note that any live bee or equipment sales leaving or entering the province of Manitoba require an interprovincial movement inspection and a valid importation permit from the importing province prior to crossing borders.

Please contact the Manitoba Provincial Apiarist Derek Micholson (Derek.Micholson@gov.mb.ca) for assistance with inspections/permits well in advance of any interprovincial movement (e.g. +2 weeks notice is ideal).

10 frame splits made in June 2025 from Saskatraz stock. Only frames and bees. $375. Available 2nd week of May they should have 6 frames of brood.

Wooden singles with box, bottom and lid included for $425.
