The fees to advertise per issue are as follows:

MBA member: No fee
Non-MBA member Manitoba resident: $20
Out-of-province: $40

Note: 

Classifieds will be published both in the print newsletter and online.

•  Ads remain active for one issue cycle (one season/quarter). For example, an ad published in the Spring issue will remain live on the website until the Summer issue is released. If you would like your ad to continue beyond that period, a renewal request is required. This policy helps prevent outdated ads from accumulating and supports efficient website management.

• Equipment/bees ads must be less than 50 words (no pictures). 

MBA members may post employment ads – must be less than 100 words. 

*All out-of-province sales of bees will be posted with the reminder that the respective Provincial Apiarists must be contacted and bees inspected as per inter-provincial bee movement regulations.

Out-of-Province Bee & Equipment Sales

OUT-OF-PROVINCE ADS

*Please note that any live bee or equipment sales leaving or entering the province of Manitoba require an interprovincial movement inspection and a valid importation permit from the importing province prior to crossing borders.

Please contact the Manitoba Provincial Apiarist Derek Micholson (Derek.Micholson@gov.mb.ca) for assistance with inspections/permits well in advance of any interprovincial movement (e.g. +2 weeks notice is ideal).

The nucs would have been inspected and should be available by May 20, 2026

2. Bees for sale (2026) – Near Drumheller, Alberta

Meijer Honey Farm

10 frame splits made in June 2025 from Saskatraz stock. Only frames and bees. $375. Available 2nd week of May they should have 6 frames of brood. 

5 frame nucs with 2026 queens with 3 frames of brood. Available end of May beginning of June $275. 

Wooden singles with box, bottom and lid included for $425.

Discount applied if more than 50 are purchased.
