Manitoba Honey Bee Day – May 29th
Manitoba Honey Bee Day 2025 took place on Thursday, May 29 at Brandon University. It was a community-oriented celebration of honey bees, pollinators, and the beekeeping industry, hosted by the Manitoba Beekeepers' Association.
In 2025, the event expanded to include school field trips, giving students a unique hands-on learning experience featuring live observation hives, beekeeper Q&A, honey tasting, pollinator seed giveaways, and interactive photo booths.
This annual event is free and open to the public, with the goal of raising awareness about pollinator habitat and the crucial role bees play in sustainable agriculture. We appreciate our supporters, including: BeeMaid Honey, Dancing Bee Equipment, BeeU at Brandon University, KRTP, and McKenzie Seeds.
