Manitoba Honey Bee Day – May 29th
Join us for Manitoba Honey Bee Day 2025 on Thursday, May 29 at Brandon University, a public celebration of honey bees, pollinators, and the beekeeping industry, proudly hosted by the Manitoba Beekeepers' Association.
This year, we’re expanding the event to include school field trips, giving students a unique hands-on learning experience featuring live observation hives, beekeeper Q&A, honey tasting, pollinator seed giveaways, and interactive photo booths.
The event is free and open to the public, with the goal of raising awareness about pollinator habitat and the crucial role bees play in sustainable agriculture. Confirmed supporters include BeeMaid Honey, Dancing Bee Equipment, BeeU at Brandon University, KRTP, and McKenzie Seeds.

MBA Field Days
Field days are chance to see different beekeeping operations and talk bees!
The 2024 MBA Field Day was held at Merv Malyon’s Kemnay Apiaries.
We are still in the early planning stages for the 2025 Field Day. If you would like to host a field day, please contact the MBA chairperson!
Annual Convention & AGM
While the convention has a registration fee, the AGM is open to all MBA members - no cost to attend.
