Advance Payments Program for Honey Producers

Manitoba honey producers can access cash advances through the Advance Payments Program (APP), administered by the Manitoba Crop Alliance in Carman.

• Up to $1,000,000 available
• First $250,000 is interest-free (increased from $100,000 in 2022)
• Based on honey inventory (typically ~$0.90/lb, varies by year)
• Repay as you sell your honey, or by July of the following year

This federal program helps improve cash flow so you can cover expenses and market your honey when prices are stronger.
