Originally created for veterinarian training purposes, a sacrificial honey bee colony was inoculated with two AFB-infected frames to allow visual symptoms of the disease to progress. This video demonstrates how to diagnose AFB in the field as well as how to prepare a frame sample to submit to Veterinary Diagnostic Services in Winnipeg.
